VIDEO: 2010 Blackstone Fly-In / Wing Fling

I have more video of course, but his is all I could manage to complete with all the other work I’m doing.  Thank you to all who gave me interviews.  I will be producing the clips, but I have to work time in after my next two big due dates in July:  12th and 19th.

Dawn Van Ness

Thank you

Thank you to all who attended!

And we would like to extend a specific thank you to Capt. Marty Sacks, Maryland Wing and
Capt. Rick Frattali, Maryland Wing.  The mission was approved by Maj John Henderson, Middle East Region, Current
Operations Officer.

Joe Allman said coming down from Baltimore when they had other options meant quiet a bit.

Blackstone Fly-In: Wing fling fun for all ages and backgrounds

Today from 10-4, residents of southern Virginia and guests from all over enjoyed sharing the joys of aircrafts; from the Black Hawks and Cessnas to  PPCs, and Ultra-Lights.   Even the boys from NASA showed-up to explain their safety experiments which are run regularly.

This was the first Fly-In of its kind for Blackstone, Virginia, and it is very much hoped to grow.

Thanks in part to the participation of the local military of Fort Picket, as well as POWs, volunteer Virginia airmen, and more.  Better appreciation will be given in the form of a video highlighting some of the attendees and their choice of flight.

Thank you to all who participated!  More photos, as well as the videos, will be forth coming in the coming week!
